My name is Murali. I had undergone menigoylocil surgery in 1977. In 1985, 1986 an ulcer was developed in my left foot. I had undergone several surgeries on my left foot to cure and to prevent the ulcer (In CMC, Vellore, SLC Pune and Manipal Medical College). If I take rest without giving pressure on that ulcer area then the wound would heal, but again the ulcer will come when I started walking. All doctors told that i have to off load the weight on the wound area then only the ulcer will heal.
