The actual measurement is based on calibrated capacitive sensors. These systems are able to record dynamic as well as static measurements.
The clinical assessment of each patient is taken into consideration, the gait, the pressure distribution measurements and when needed, the three dimensional measurements wound in the plantar area of the diabetic patient. These measurements along with the pressure points of the diabetic patients foot captured are used to design the footwear using appropriate software.
Diastride is also establishing its network across India. Currently Diastride is setting up its units at major hospitals.
